I'm interested in the notion of Jake doing something involving singing and dancing.. a la a musical. Beyond the SNL skit, what roles has Jake taken that involve musical numbers before?   I've never seen Damn Yankees before, but I occasionally really like musicals.  And, at least it's a fairly classic musical too.

I actually quite like Jim Carrey too.  I don't necessarily like all the roles he chooses, but I think he's a likable actor.

Well, If he had gotten the role in Moulin Rouge that he was close to getting....then we would have seen him singing and dancing and everything between! Smiley


If he tried out for that role, I´m sure he has taken both singing and dancing lessons though

I usually don't care for Jim Carrey's older stuff, (sophomoric comedy), but he's been maturing.  I really liked him in ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND.  I am looking forward to seeing him playing "gay" in I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS, if they ever release the film.     

Jake is certainly challenging himself with performing in a wide variety of genres.  PRINCE OF PERSIA, NAILED, BROTHERS and now a musical!  Smiley
