Then...  his hand on his face...

O, to be a glove upon that hand...

Then..  a spider on his face!  Barb, I know you didn't care for that movie,(because it was bad  :P) but Jake still made me care about his character, 'Pilot'.  Shows how our Jake can rise above a bad story!

Actually, I didn't think it was that bad.  And I thought Jake did very well with the part, as always.  What made me kinda mad about the movie is I thought it had a lot of potential, which the powers that be *totally* blew.  So to speak.

Yep.  He was absolutely adorable in that one.  I just wanted to kiss his whole face.  But then, that's nothing new, is it?

Seriously, I was just disappointed that they didn't take his sexual ambiguity - anywhere.  I still wonder whether it was the original intention and it got nixed by the semi-retarded studio big wigs or that the writer/director just choked.  I'd have loved to have seen Pilot go to Seattle looking for his dad, which would have been perfectly plausible given that's a hub for a couple of major airlines.  And I'd have loved to have seen him go somewhere, anywhere else but back to that girl for whom it was clear he had no passion whatsoever.  The ending just left me cold.
