Hi, Chuck!

Sounds like a good way to spend your day.

That diet really seems to be working.

Well, I just had quite an experience.

My grade school reunion took place tonight, and I didn't register to go.  My grade school years were not the happiest of times (I'm sure a few of you here can understand).

The reunion was a sellout.  Since it was a small Catholic school, there were multiple classes attending the reunion.  Some people said they would crash, and people were told if they showed up without a ticket, they were to be escourted out.

I had not purchased a ticket, and had no intentions of going.

I went onto Facebook, and there was a message from one of my classmates.  She was at the reunion, and she told the other members of my class that showed up that she had found me on FaceBook, and that I lived about 5 minutes from where the reunion was being held.  They wanted to see me, and told me they'd meet me outside.

I ran up, showered, shaved, and got dressed quickly.  I called them on the phone and let them know I was outside, and waited.  2 minutes later, 6 of my grade school friends (all female) showed up, and we all just started laughing.  We were the same, just older.

One of them had snuck out her husband's name tag, and pinned it on me, and they helpped me "crash" the reunion.

It was a blast, we all exchanged emails, and we're going to meet up in the future, and try to get more of the class to attend this time.

;D

That's a very cool experience, Chuckie !  I'm glad you enjoyed it!  Yes, trying to remember grade school makes my head hurt, never mind the memories of getting beat up!  I'm glad it was good for you :*.

Chucky, that sound so exciting meeting up with your old school buddies.....sounds like they love you as much as we do, and how cheeky to "crash" the party.

Yes with the help of the internet and things like Facebook, it will be much easier now to keep up with them. I bet its interesting hearing about where they all ended up.
