"B" is Billy Madison (1995)
« Reply #5210 on: October 23, 2008, 11:21:07 pm »

IMDB: Billy Madison is a non-working, non-educated slacker who lives entirely off his dad. He spends his day drinking beer, reading girly magazines, and hanging out by the pool. When his father realizes that Billy is unfit to run the family business, Billy decides that he must go back to school and earn a real education. He figures it will be no problem going back to high school and learning over again, until he learns that his father bought Billy's passing grades all the way back in elementary school. Thus, Billy must return to elementary school and pass each grade one at a time in a short time, or else he loses his place as heir to the company. In addition, Billy tries to win the hand of Veronica, a sexy school teacher who thinks her students are more mature than Billy.

Also known as:  "Dirtier Deeds"

From Wikipedia:  "Dirty Deeds" is a 2005 comedy film directed by David Kendall. The plot is about a high school student who tries to complete the "Dirty Deeds" — an outrageous series of challenges that must be completed between dusk and dawn on the Friday night of Homecoming Weekend. In the movie only one other student completes all the tasks (eight at the time, two new tasks are added after as per the games rules).

"F" is Frontrunners (2008)
« Reply #5214 on: October 24, 2008, 05:22:40 pm »

Plot from IMDB: It's hard to run for office - even in high school. And the campaign for student body president at Stuyvesant, perhaps the most prestigious public high school in the country, is almost as sophisticated as any presidential election. Candidates must choose running mates, navigate primaries, write political platforms, perform in televised debates, shake as many hands as possible, and win newspaper endorsements. But unlike presidential candidates, they also have to do their homework, take their SATs and write their college applications. FRONTRUNNERS follows the recent elections at the country's most competitive high school, exploring how politics works at a nascent level. As the race unfolds, it takes on undertones familiar to anyone who has watched a national election -- revealing that teenagers have an implicit understanding of how strategy, race, gender, personality, platforms, charisma, and hairstyle figure into a winning campaign.

"G" is The Great Debaters (2007)
« Reply #5215 on: October 24, 2008, 06:40:45 pm »

From IMDb:  Marshall, Texas, described by James Farmer, Jr. as "the last city to surrender after the Civil War," is home to Wiley College, where, in 1935-36, inspired by the Harlem Renaissance and his clandestine work as a union organizer, Professor Melvin Tolson coaches the debate team to a nearly undefeated season that sees the first debate between U.S. students from white and Negro colleges and ends with an invitation to face Harvard University's national champions. The team of four, which includes a female student and a very young James Farmer, is tested in a crucible heated by Jim Crow, sexism, a lynch mob, an arrest and near riot, a love affair, jealousy, and a national radio audience.

...courtesy of my new roommate Lauren, off the top of her head!

From Wiki:

High School Musical is a Disney musical about Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez (portrayed by Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens) auditioning for the roles of Arnold and Minnie in the winter musical Twinkle Towne, against Sharpay and Ryan Evans. It was one of the best Disney Channel Original Movies, or DCOMS, and recieved several awards. It was released in several different versions of DVDs and even had two different soundtracks. Other merchandise was also created.

Along with that, several video games were made, including High School Musical: Sing It! and another game, High School Musical: Makin' the Cut!. The first, Sing It! will be for Nintendo DS and will come out this August. The second, Makin' the Cut!, will be for several platforms and will be released in August as well.

"I" is It's a Boy Girl Thing (2006)
« Reply #5217 on: October 25, 2008, 05:24:21 pm »

IMDb:  Woody and Nell have been next door neighbors since childhood, but couldn't be any different. He's a jock, she's a nerd, she's graduating to Yale, he's going to second rate college on football scholarship. Despite being next door neighbors, they couldn't be any different and neither have any love for each other; in fact the despise one another intensely. But all that is about to change, courtesy of a trip to a local museum, and a run in with a Mayan god of sorcery, which leaves them in a situation where the term "Walk a mile another person's shoes" soon occurs next morning.

"J" is Jimmy and Judy (2006)
« Reply #5218 on: October 25, 2008, 06:11:03 pm »

From IMDb:  In the Kentucky suburbs of Cincinnati, social misfit Jimmy Wright always has his video camera -- at his psychiatrist's, spying on his parents in their bedroom, and watching high-school senior, Judy Oaks-Kellen. He rescues Judy from a teacher and students who tease and torment her, and, showing her his video tape of revenge, kick-starts their friendship, which is soon in an overdrive of romance, sex, and pleasure. Jimmy is in and out of mental institutions, and, before long, he and Judy are on the run. Cocaine, guns, and a commune of other misfits figure in their flight. How far can their love take them? It's all on video.
