Thank you and happy Turkey Day to everyone! I grew some purple Hopi corn this year like that in the picture. I didn't grow pumpkins but harvested some magnificent squash with pink skin and orange meat. Yesterday I processed one of them and made four bags of grated raw squash for bread/cake, two containers of cooked squash for soup or casseroles, and big chunks of squash I don't know what to do with yet. I also made a skillet full of calabacitas, a Hispanic dish of squash, onion, peppers, garlic, oregano and cumin. I'll bring it to dinner along with condiments of cheese, cilantro and chile on the side!
