My mother's name is Jetty. And no she is not a horse. She just has an unusual name.

What is the average life span for a horse?

How do you pronounce Jutty?  Does it rhyme with "beauty"?  Like "you-tee"?

Yes, 'YOU-tee' that's it.

And if I had gotten 1 euro for every time her name got mentioned in our family, I probably could get her a new bridle already.

Well,  the average is between 25 to 30 years old. The owner who gave her to me said that if I looked after her well and barring any diseases, I should be able to ride her for another 5 years. She's got good genes, her mother lived till she was 32 which is really old for a horse. The owner told me he thought she was still too good to retire and she loves riding. So that's what I'm going to do.

Awww! I agree with Chrissi, she's a beautiful horse Fabienne! I wish I could be there to pet her, hug her and feed her a carrot and a sugar cube!
