I understand she likes it, I just think it looks juvenile.

I keep telling her that one morning, she's going to wake up to see I've put party hats on Mary and Joseph, and put bday balloons on the manger.

I laughed so hard. I went over to the living room and told my husband to come and see your display of tackiness. He was as thrilled as I was.

En passant you relived a tradition from my childhood, when we used to drive through the American village near us in Advent, to see their incredible Christmas decorations.

Chuckie, this Forum was not complete until now!  Thank you for your definitive take on the holidays.  The snappy chatter is vintage Chuck, and a real hoot!  :laugh:
