Aren't those set in Wales?

I've read many of them, and I seem to remember Wales being mentioned a lot.

Brother Cadfael is a resident of the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter and St. Paul on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, in Shropshire. Shropshire is on the border of Wales, and Brother Cadfael is himself Welsh. Wales does get mentioned a lot,

Me, too. I found several collections with more than one book under one cover, so I bought them and got rid of the paperbacks, thinking the collections would take up less space on my bookshelf.

They do, but I regret the decision. You can't carry the collections with you to read one of the stories when you travel. They're much too big.

They need not be read in order, but when they are, notice that they follow the seasons in order.

One story will take place in the summer, then the next will take place in the fall, then the next will take place in the winter, then the next will take place in the spring, and then the next takes place in the summer again, beginning the sequence again.
