I bet it is a camera stand....it looks an awful lot like the kind of screw I have on my tripod...

Yeah, but couldn't it screw into a falcon too....Im sure if we twisted it around a bit, and cut off a few pieces and chucked away the camera, we could use it for a falcon leash....... ::) ::)

That top part definately looks like something that would screw a camera, but I don't see how the chains would keep it up? ???

thats what I think, how those dam chains can stand upright and hold up a camera.........unless of course its attached to a falcon, and they are trying to get above ground shots.......hmmmmmmmmmm......this could have been a trick question right from the start........ ::)
