Collectibles!

So, in June of 2017, Funko Pop released a sent of Wonder Twins pops, which I (of course) had to have.  Not long after I got the Zan & Jayna pops, I was given Superman and Flash as a Christmas gift.

I don't know why it never hit me (until now) to collect the 'pops' of all the other Super Friends.

I've been using parts of my "disposable income" to get the rest of the pops.

At the beginning of the week, Green Lantern arrived.

Thursday Robin, Aquaman and Cyborg arrived.

I got home from work Friday to see Hawkwoman and Firestorm waiting for me.




the only ones left to arrive are Batman and Wonder Woman,  and Batman comes with a replica of the Hall of Justice.


there is another figure,  named Hawkman....but he's a discontinued item, so people are selling them mint in box for a lot of money.  If I can find and opened/loose one, I would pay for that, as it would be cheaper.

The last two Super Friends arrived today.

Wonder Woman, Batman, and the Hall of Justice, the headquarters of the Super Friends.

DC Super Hero stamps.  I didn't know these existed, and found them online.  LOL

Now they're in my collection.

I believe they came out sometime in the 90s, but I never knew they existed.  LOL

I forgot to post this, but my Funko Pops collection of Super Friends figures is (for now) complete.



I say "for  now" because there are a few characters that have not been created.  If they do create them, I would get them.

Well, most of those characters are in various versions of The Justice League of America, not The Super Friends.

The Super Friends cartoon was based on the JLA, and when it became popular, a Super Friends comic appeared, but it ran for only 47 issues (about 4 years) from 1976 - 1981.

For a while, in the 90s, I was collecting the "X" books, the comics that featured the stories of the X-Men.  The titles I was actively collecting was Uncanny X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, X-men, New Mutants, Generation X, EXcalibur.  That was getting too expensive for me, so I stopped.

I'm now only collecting two titles,  Young Justice, and Wonder Twins,  however, Wonder Twins is a maxi-series only, and stops publishing after next week's issue (#12).
