Ang remains silent. 
I've lost respect for Ang Lee for not doing a commentary, I mean he did one for
Hulk. Also for producer James Shamus and Focus films. After all their talk of how much the film meant to them and blah blah blah, and then they throw us a bare-bones DVD.
The films
Jarhead and
V for Vendetta were released in both single and double disc sets,
at the same time! All with at least one commentary. Even the lower budget
A History of Violence has a great director commentary and deleted scenes also with commentaries. That tells me that the film makers were proud of their creation and had a certain amount of respect for the fans and potential buyers. BbM didn't even have an insert with chapter listings.
So no, I won't be buying the so-called
Collectors Edition, lol! (which is now available everywhere in Toronto, btw).
