Brokeback is my Fav...it must be said..it is #1

Now I voted for The Order because like Brokeback it is a brillant understated yet deeply poignant portrayal. But I also lvoe Heath in Ned Kelly...excellent film, the best telling of that story around. Also Two Hands and Monsters Ball, this boy can act! Heath is a darling in Cassanova, The Patriot and A Knights Tale all very entertaining but not great acting just fun fluff

Oh I definitely will, Slayers. When it first came out I had no desire to see it. Now I'm eager to rent it! I'm looking forward to see how Heath handles his first leading role; and from what I hear, he more than holds his own.

And I'll be getting Two Hands, too, Mandy. As a matter of fact, as a newly converted Heathen, I'll be most likely checking out all of his work!

I have to admit I've only seen three of the movies on that list - 10 Things, A Knight's Tale and Lords of Dogtown. I love 10 Things, so I voted for that, but I also really liked the other two. And his acting blew me away in LOD (the movie is just okay though). I saw it after seeing BBM and was worried that I'd just see Ennis, but I didn't see Ennis AT ALL.

You are makng me feel really old, Chris. I owned the album (vinyl) with Golden Years and literally wore tracks in it (as I did with most of my records). My daughter, the other day, asked me how a record player worked, because she has never seen one.

Oh yes, she was full of questions. This all came about because we were listening to Led Zeppelin II (cd, in the car) and I always hit the "seek" button and skip ahead to song #5 (Heartbreaker). And Hannah (my daughter) says, "Why do you always do that, Mom?" And I said, totally seriously, and totally automatically, "Oh, the second side of this album is much better than the first." She looked at me like I was nuts. "What does that mean, Mom? What's a second side?" Man, I felt like something from Stonehenge.

And for anyone who is reading this, I would like to point out that we were listening to Led Zeppelin, NOT the Monkees! Major LOL!!!

I know I'm probably alone on this, but I really(!) like "The Four Feathers". It's actually the first Heath Ledger film I saw (only just recently saw most of his other films - "10 Things I Hate About You", "A Knight's Tale", "The Patriot", "Ned Kelly", "The Order", "Lords of Dogtown" and "Casanova"). Saw it on a plane and really only because of Wes Bentley (loved him American Beauty!). I was stunned by Heath in it and it hasn't stopped since. I came to know about BBM through Heath.

Close second or equal is "Monster's Ball"..

Haven't seen: "Brothers Grimm", "Candy" and "Two Hands" yet.

I can't vote yet. I have only seen BBM, The Order and 10 Things I hate about you.

I loved Heath singing in "10 Things I hate about you". LOL

I thought he was good in "The Order" even though it was a dark movie.

I only saw the end of the "Patriot" and was devastated!

That's funny, I had a Led Zeppelin experience yesterday. i was in a coffee house (had a bit o time, and they have wifi, so i was here with you all.) They were playing what must have been a Led Zeppelin greatest hits album or something, because it was no order I've ever heard those songs in. Anyway, i was readin and postin here, and groovin to the music, when i suddenly realized that the last time I had heard some of those songs, I probably didn't even imagine that I would ever own a computer or a cell phone, much less have them sittting on the table with me in a coffee house. For that matter I didn't drink coffee way back then either. Anyway, it was meaningful for me.

I chose "Ten Things I Hate About You".

Heath Ledger MADE that movie! Besides, he looked great in long hair! Of course Heath would look great with no hair... or short hair... or even polkadot hair!

It was the first movie I saw Heath Ledger in, so I guess I am rather partial to it.

I had a hard decision. I loved The Patriot (mainly because of gorgeous Heath and the magnificent John Williams), but I also loved The Four Feathers! In the end... I went with the film I enjoy more, and that's The Patriot. Four Feathers is magnificent IMO but too depressing! But hey, it has a wonderful Lawrence Of Arabia-like score to it, masterful work by Horner there.

Yes, I loved The Patriot too. Heath was excellent in that movie. Mel Gibson was good in it too.

Any day with heath in it is a plus..The more the better. I liked Knights tale best,,, i loved that cast,

and i loved the humor...I thought that the music was inspired for that movie...It alll worked together, and

made for a great flick. janice
