Hi Gary and Dottie! Thanks for the hellos!! :)

I'm back at my house in Speedway for the weekend. I just got out of the shower and I'm sitting here listening to the Grand Ole Opry on GAC. Soon some friends will be stopping by for a few hours. It's not really a party. Just a little get together. Around 8 people I think.

Late tonight a cold front will be moving in. Today it was 50 F here in Indy. Tomorrow it will only reach 10 F. Then an ice and snow storm will be hitting us tomorrow night or Monday morning. Fun, huh?  >:(

You live in a place called Seedway?  Sounds like your house is sitting beside an interstate.

The weather here has turned warmer.  We're now hitting highs in the 60's in the daytime.

Have fun with your friends.   :D

Gary

Hi Gary. Speedway is a small town on the west side of Indianapolis. I don't know how familiar you are with racing, but the Indianapolis 500 race track is located in Speedway. Actually it is right behind my house. It gets noisy over here when those stupid races are going on.  >:(

I am, thanks.  ;D Just a bit tired and still alcohol running in my system from last night... ::) but otherwise I'm doing fine. How is your father doing, if you don't mind my asking?

Alcohol running through your system? Did you get drunk?

Did you BEHAVE yourself??  ;)  ;)

My Dad is doing okay. He is having problems turning around. Instead of turning around like "normal" people, he now must walk around in a circle. This is one of the effects of Parkinson's disease. He is also havin trouble getting up and down from his chair. Another effect of the disease. He has now reached "mid stage" in the disease. So.....  :-\

He's still doing pretty good though. Thanks for asking sweetie!!  :-*

Yes, even I have heard of the Indianapolis 500.    And yeah, I would imagine it gets pretty loud there when the race is going on.  I have a friend who lives close to a little town called Shelbyville Indiana.  Do you know it?

My mother was paranoid schizophrenic, and so she had to take antipsychotic medication, and this caused Parkinson's like side effects sometimes called psuedo Parkinson's disease.

Sure I've heard of Shelbyville Gary! It's on the southeast side of Indy... In Shelby county of course!!  :D  I drive right past it every time I go down to Cincinnati. It's probably about 30 miles from Speedway on the other side of town.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandmother!!
