Whahappen?

Watched the Portugal/Czech Republic match on Tuesday.  It wasn't a great game but Ronaldo had some pretty good moves and delivered in the end.  Tonight I'll watch the Germany-Greece match, I think Germany won it 2-1.

Busy, busy, busy. Still watched all games over the last days. I found the Portugal/Czech Republic game to be so lame and boring that I skipped parts of watching. :P
If only they still had Nuno Gomez playing.... that would have saved the match for me. ;)
Ronaldo? - Pah, I don't care for him, looks-wise, and he seems so dammned arrogant. But the goal was technically challenging. He CAN play football, gotta give him that.

Sami Khedira from Germany.


I just like the name, can't help it. Sami Khedira - that has a ring to it. I think he's an excellent player, not one of the showy strikers, but one that always does his work, he's dependable. I like that.
Last night I heard him in an interview for the first time. Oh my gosh, the guy can express himself! He uses long sentences, and they're even grammatically correct! Measured by footballers' intellectual standards, he's a genius. ;) :laugh:

Well France is out.  I was really torn watching the match.  I'm French so I have to support France but I also love Spain.  ANyway, good game.  Spain deserved to win they pretty much dominated throughout.

Oh my. What a drama!

England is out after penalty-shootout. They never win penalty-shootouts, never.

I have to say Italy was clearly the better team, and their victory is well-deserved. Even though my heart beats for England.


Gil, I think you've posted a pic of Andy Caroll before. Took me till this evening to really notice the guy, lol. And John Hart, the English goalie! :) I loved how he smiled all the time. You had the feeling he was having a pleasant evening. :laugh:

And have you seen Italy's Bertolli after taking his shirt off? :o

Gotta look for some pics tomorrow. Too late here, my alarm clock goess off in 6 hours. :P

Yes, I did mean Barotelli. And it's Joe Hart, not John. Guess I was really tired last night; probably from so many hours of watching hot guys football. ::) ;D

Barotelli is not really my type, it was just his chiseled back I admired. Like a perfect statue.


But Hart and Carroll, yum!

When I googled pictures of him, I found it really striking in how many pics he's smiling. And he's doing funny faces. Gotta love that!
