Beautiful photo capture, Julie; thanks for posting that for us. Jake's hands are somehow both manly and delicate, and this still shows his lovely right hand to splendid advantage. And I for one love the dirty fingernail; Ennis has a few dirty nails on view in the film as well. Shows you the gritty workaday lives these cowboys lived, and which is another reason we feel for them so.

I'm pretty embarrassed to admit this...my face is flushed as I type!
I had a dream last night that I was hanging out with Jake on a photoshoot (2nd Jake dream this week) and he, um...got his cookies just from the excitement of the shoot and he used "no hands"! It actually woke me up in the middle of the night and all I could think was about how Barb's "no hands" comment has stuck in my psyche and influenced my dreams.
