Well, when the Dagens Nyheter starts publishing a Connections, they can fill it with Swedish words! I think the NYT should limit itself to words identifiable by average Americans.

I am in awe of your ability to solve it as is, Sonja! I studied French in high school but I wouldn't get far with a French Connections -- er, so to speak.
