Christmas themed fanfic
« on: December 20, 2010, 03:47:44 pm »
Coming from another thread, where this was off topic, I'm opening a new one.

What Christmas themed fanfics do you know? Can you recommend them? Do you have a link?

So far, Milo has mentioned "Silver Bells" (waiting for the link).

I remember one about The Twelve Days Of Christmas (will look for the link later).
Was that the one where Ennis lives in Scotland, on a tiny island, and Jack is stranded there, due to bad weather conditions? I'm not sure, it was so long ago. Does anyone know?

Okay, I've found two stories, but both are not the one I remember vaguely.

I found "12 days of Christmas" and "Twelve Days of Christmas" over on LJ. Both are easy to find in the tags. I haven't read them, so I have no idea whether they're any good.

Damn, now I'm agonizing about the story I have in mind, the one on a Scottish island. ::)
And "Silver Bells", which Milo mentioned, also rings a b sounds familiar to me. Milo, what was it about?

:o What does that make Jack? The kilt inspector?

Silver Bells

Its an After!Jack story. Ennis is old, and laid up in the hospital over the Christmas season. He reminisces about the one time he was able to spend Christmas with Jack.

That was Going Home. But the author deleted her LJ. I never read it.

I have Going Home if someone wants it.

And I have a short and sweet story by Jenna, don't remember the name right now, but it has a xmas theme too.

And then of course there's xmas being celebrated in Human Interest. (or maybe TCJ, don't remember)

I would like a copy. I remember that it got favorable remarks from some readers whose opinions I respect. I'll PM you my e-mail addy.

Of course, I'm reading something non-BBM related right now, but I'll be up for some fanfic in a week or so.
