And some of you might not know this, but Garfield is a Hoosier!!! Jim Davis (the creator of Garfield) lives in Muncie, Indiana just up the road from me!!

Aw, David, those Garfield pics are sooo cute. I read the Garfield strip in the Daily Telegraph every morning, and he always makes me chuckle.  I had no idea he was a Hoosier. That makes him extra special!

Yeah, Jim Davis lives on the outskirts of Muncie, waaaaay out in the country. Garfield does make an appearance in Indianapolis every now and then. He always appears in the Indianapolis 500 parade (the big parade they have here the day before the race). He's a huge balloon, and he comes through downtown Indy, tethered with many ropes.
