Lilly Wust (Aimée) and Felice Schragenheim (Jaguar) in a photo taken in 1944.  Lilly was the wife of a Nazi officer and Felice was a Jewish woman who was ultimately killed in a concentration camp.  The women had a famous love affair, which amazingly, they documented with photographs they took of themselves.

Their story has been turned into a book and a really wonderful movie that addresses the topic of lesbian life in Germany under the Nazi era and Holocaust.

Here are some posters and stills from the film:

This one reminds me some of the scenes in "Tipping the Velvet" .  Bob and I recently watched all the episodes on Logo and really enjoyed it.
