Back to the two versions of Cross My Heart:

I liked Eighth Wonder's better.  It is softer.  The second singer grated on my ears a little.  (Sorry, fans of Martika.)
Jack's from Texas.

Happy Wednesday, BetterMost!!!!

Here's a big, sloppy wet one for you all!

and I don't mean a kiss!   I mean a sloppy, wet morning greeting from rain and snow soaked NJ.

Last night we had snow and freezing rain, and of course, threw everyone into a tizzy.  As my brothers and I say when trying to deal with other drivers in these conditions, "Instant asshole, just add water."

::)

So, of course, the snow plows covered up the sewage drains when they plowed, and it froze over, adn now the melting snow and new rain has no where to go, so we're flooding out in the streets.

::)

Left earlier than usual to be to work on time, but there were no real major delays, and got here early.

Hope everyone is doing well today!

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Good morning, Chuck.   :D

I'd rather have a kiss than a snow storm any day of the week.   :P

Today (February 13th) is a happy day in my family.

On this date 43 years ago, my parents got married.

I wonder if they knew what they were in for when they got married.
They've been through A LOT!

A wedding day

a number of cars

the birth of 3 children

owning their own home

working on the railroad for years

teaching children as an aide

watching their second born almost get expelled, and then turn around and become a police officer.

watching their third born get diagnosed with dyslexia and be classified as neurologically impaired, and then watch him become the site supervisor at his job

watching their first born son get through a dark and depressing time, come out of the closet, and lose 70lbs, get out of debt, and start to enjoy life

watching their parents pass away

make it to retirement, and begin the golden years

Here are Mom & Dad when they first started dating.

Here is their wedding day, 43 years ago today.

Here they are at my younger brother Michael's wedding day to my sister in law.

and here they are at a family wedding last year.

You have lovely parents Chuck.  They were beautiful when they married and they
are beautiful now.

No wonder you are such a cutie.         :-* :-*

Give them all my best.  Wish them many more to come.

Congrats too.

What a beautiful couple.  :)

The photos sort of remind me of the movie 'Pearl Harbour' for some reason.  :-\

Must be the uniform ......

Wow! 43 years. That's great -- they look like they've had lots of joy through the tough times. It's nice to have someone to love who will share the good and the bad. Doubles the joy -- halfs the sorrow. Congratulations to your family, Chuck!
