Mayo and Indonesian peanut sauce!

Oooooh, I bet that is good!!
There is this Asian hot sauce/Chili sauce that comes in a bottle with a rooster on the front.
I love to mix that stuff with mayo!

Mustard is for Wurst. And since we Germans have a huge variety of Wurst and eat it often, we eat mustard often.
From left to right: Bierschinken, Lyoner, geräucherte Rohwurst, Weißwurst, Bratwurst and Wienerle.

The last kind, Wienerle, is used for hot-dogs. And mustard, mayo and ketchup all belong on a hot-dog.
I also use mustard as a spice for a vinaigrette and I spread it thinly on roulades before I fill them.
So, it's not only for decoration  ;D

Mmmm. That Bierschinken looks good! So does the Bratwurst mit Sauerkraut!  :D

Yes, only Hellman's. Unless I make my own homemade.

And don't get me started on Miracle Whip! YUCK!

Amen sister!
Some folks actually think miracle whip and mayo are interchangeable! Bleeeech!!
And the fat free or lite mayo? No freakin way!
That stuff looks and tastes like something left over from a science experiment!

I absolutely detest Miracle Whip. It makes my stomach turn. I can't even smell the stuff.

You make your own mayo?  :o

I tried fat-free mayo once. Just awful. If possible, even worse than fat-free peanut butter.  :P  :-X

It's easy if you have a food processor. Whip up some eggs, add a little bit of lemon juice or vinegar and pour the oil in slowly, til it all emulsifies. It's really good and would be delicious on french fries!

I've NEVER heard of Miracle Whip ... is it like Mayonaise flavoured marshmallow fluff or something?

Susie

No, It's like a mayo with sugar and some other crap added. It's really awful. :P

They don't have Miracle Whip in England? Count your blessings! LOL

Seriously, it is called a salad dressing (not mayonnaise) but it looks just like mayo and lots of people use it instead of mayo. But it's really sweet and disgusting tasting. My mother-in-law used to use it and gave me a tuna sandwich made with Miracle Whip. I thought I would barf right there at the table.
