Also, read The Bucolic Plague. It's a great read!

I've just been reading the last two pages of this thread. The show isn't shown here at all, so I don't follow the thread and thus didn't know Josh Kilmer-Purcell/maybe Beekman now (?) and his hubby are on it.

I haven't read The Bucolic Plague, but it's supposed to be good. But before you read it, read "I'm not myself these days" by Josh. Very good book. It's hilarious in places. I started out literally LOLing. I cried from laughter - and later for real. Goes from outraging hilarious to heartbreaking.
After you've read that one, you might need The Bucolic Plague for a happy ending. :)

Leslie (MaineWriter) recommended it to me. In fact, she started to read it out loud to me when we were driving home from the Alsace last year. I begged her to stop; I needed to use the restroom before she could read on, it was so funny.

A new post on Josh and Brent's website.  A must-see for the "It Gets Better" movement!

So, who has been watching Season 22?

*cries* - they were so near me in this last episode.. and I didn't know :(

Apart from the initial Gosford House, (which btw I had never heard of) all the tasks were on the outskirt of Edinburgh City Centre so maybe like a 10mile max distance between the tasks.. Didn't know there was a castle in Craigmillar.. its an urban regeneration area as it was an area of Edinburgh that was a bit rough and disadvantaged - think the hood, scottish style, so it was interesting to see when the girls drove out the social housing in the background.. clearly the castle is right in the middle of the housing estate.. who knew.. not me!

The skittle task was .... odd.. I wouldn't have picked that as an ordinary scottish task, you guys dont have skittles? And you dont play it regularly or once you re over like 8 years old!! And we have ten pen bowling over here, lol! and I betcha there is no skittle alleyway normally in the pub they were in doing it! And I can guarantee that they dont make haggis in that pub fresh!

Some of the pronunciations made me laugh/scream at the TV - how the newly weds said the name of the pub, The Sheeps Heid. "The Sheeps 'Hide'" rather than "The Sheeps 'Heed" (Head) and Edinburgh..

I used to live literally around the corner from the pitstop.. sniff..

Oh, and the first two shots from the preview, the train was a First scotrail train so guessing they had to go elsewhere in Scotland (maybe Glasgow, and I will cry if they go there too) cos they wouldn't have got a train to Edinburgh airport, and it looks to me that the street that the Roller Moms are walking down is also Edinburgh, possibly the other side of Princess Street

Meryl.. did you recognise the square where your took our photo together.. they parked there to go to the pitstop.. and the side street that the pit stop was on was either the side street we had lunch on or the one next to it!!
