Yep! My sister flew from Atlanta to Melbourne when she lived in Austrailia.
I think that was only 21hrs though.

Peachy,

I found this in an article from the New York Daily News:

Ledger, a rising star in Hollywood known for his brooding personality and complex roles, is expected to be buried in his native Perth, Australia.

Funeral plans remain shrouded in secrecy, but the Bowra & O'Dea funeral home in Midland Australia, is believed to be handling the arrangements.

The century-old funeral home is just a couple of miles away from Guildford, where Ledger attended grammar school in the 1980s.

Mike Ledger, Heath's uncle, told Australian news services that the family was still finalizing plans, but they were considering holding a private wake at Guildford Grammar.

Employees at Bowra & O'Dea were tight-lipped yesterday.

"I don't have any information I can tell you, sorry," a manager said when asked when Ledger's body would be received.

For anyone who would like to send their own, personal floral tribute to Heath's funeral (as I do), I've just e-mailed the following message to Bowra & O'Dea via their website. Will keep you up to date on their response, as soon as I receive it:

Dear Bowra & O'Dea,
I would like to send a respectful floral tribute to the funeral of Heath Ledger. Kindly notify me of the date, time and location of Mr Ledger's  funeral so that I can make arrangements to send a floral tribute via Interflora.
With grateful thanks,
etc.

Kerry,

I hope I'm wrong, but somehow I think the funeral home will be reluctant to give you any info about time, place, and location.  Maybe you can just ask the funeral home if you can send flowers directly to them and they can transport them to wherever for you. (You can offer to pay for the service.)  This way, they wouldn't have to divulge any information to you.  Even if your flowers were to arrive a day early, floral arrangements typically last for more than a day.

But maybe with your job and all, they will know you are credible and not some reporter hungry for news and give you the information you need.

Good luck, Kerry.

It's there, guys. :) :)   The first on the Ledger list.  And I've emailed a scan to Meryl because I can't work out how to get it in here.  Any tips? My photobucket account won't upload it either - too big, maybe.

Bowra and O'Dea are likely candidates.  I'm hoping the family or the company says something about flowers/donations soon.
