I voted for Madonna.   I think she's great!

I'm not reading anybody else's comments until I vote!   ;D

This was a tough one.  They're both good.  But after listening to Marvin Gaye again, I prefer that version because of the rhythm.  The background accompaniment is better matched to the voice.  Whereas Madonna has a very soft voice with a loud bass accompaniment.

I know, I probably lost the vote.  Don't be too mad, Chuck -- I liked Madonna's singing, too.   :)

That Marvin Gaye video. got on my nerves.  and i have always loved him.  Heard it thru the
              Grapevine man.........

Yes, among Marvin Gaye songs, this was not my favorite (or maybe it was the video).  Heard it thru the Grapevine is much catchier.

I voted for Madonna's version although I was not highly impressed by either one. The song sounds rather boring by both acts and what is strange is that neither Madonna or Marvin Gaye typically recorded songs which I would find boring. The vocals, in my opinion, are also much weaker than typical Madonna or Marvin Gaye.

Well, I was quite surprised to see that Madonna beat Marvin Gaye with her version of "I Want You".

Here is the next poll to vote on, and it's quite a difference!

First up is the song "Enter Sandman" by heavy metal band Metallica.

Next up, is "Enter Sandman" by Iron Horse, a bluegrass band.

There is no video to this song, so it's the "Iron Horse" logo that shows while the song plays.

Remember, this is not "which video is better", as there  is no video for the Iron Horse version.  It's which version of the song do you like, the heavy metal one, or the bluegrass one.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Definitely Iron Horse.  I don't listen to bluegrass that often, but that was really good.   :D

I don't normally listen to heavy metal and didn't expect to like Metallica, but actually, it reminded me of a lot of hard rock we used to listen to from the 1970s.   ;D  It wasn't bad.  But I still liked Iron Horse much better.

Here's the new Madonna/Justin Timberlake song.

It's not a video, just a static image of the cover of her upcoming cd, "Hard Candy".

I voted for Metallica's version of "Enter Sandman." I am not a big Metallica fan, but I found their version to be MUCH better. This was one of a few Metallica songs I liked anyway. I found Iron Horse's version to be horrible. I find them to be a horrible bluegrass band in general if this is representative of their music. They just don't play bluegrass music the way I have heard it before and I live in bluegrass country. There are other bands who are playing bluegrass music the way Iron Horse does, but to me that is not true bluegrass music. If you want to hear true bluegrass music listen to Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs or The Dillards. That is the real thing.
