At the very very beginning just as the girl started singing, there were two quick flashes of Cowboys.  The first one had the Jake Gyllenhaal look for sure!  Those sideburns and those dark eyebrows!    YUM.  :)

Shows you how much/little I know about Country music, but was that Jewell singing The Start-Spangled Banner? I'm guessing it must have been. She got credit for appearing in the episode.

And that really was Ty Murray!

It was a very good episode.   Hodges a closet case?  Didn't he play a closet case character as a male receptionist on the TV show with Kirsty Alley?

Yes, he did. It was Veronica's Closet. In his case, how appropriate. Except everybody new on that show.

well, he really is a sleezy character on CSI.    I don't think they'll write him as a closet case.   As for his "I cried during Brokeback" comment?    I think he'd say anything to get a womans sympathy and get laid.

Sure enough, but the pissant said it to Catherine!

One thing that bothered me about this episode:

We are clearly shown--twice--that the bull actually stepped on the side of Cody Latsha's face. And it didn't break any bones in his face or jaw? Hunh?  ???

The thought had crossed my mind.
I figured his head would be crushed even if it was subjected to only a quarter of the bull's weight.
Still, there is a possible explanation that the animal didn't actually step on his head.  It might've been more of a kick than a step.  Don't know.  :)

Sigh. "Daddy" Grissom and the "boys" Warrick, Greg, and (especially) Nick. Wish they'd do some forensics on me!  ;D

I wish Sarah Sidle and Sofia Curtis would do forensics on me. Then I'd love to work with Grissom.  ;D

Sincerely, Kat.

Hey Kat.

CSI fan as well are ya?  Good to see ya here.  ;)

Speaking of Sofia, she hasn't been on the show much lately has she?  She may not be a main cast member any more.  She was replaced by Hodges as far as I know.  Who needs to see more of Hodges anyway..lol, they should've kept her on full time.

Yeah, I was quite disappointed about that.

And I'm a bit behind. I'm in Australia.

Sincerely, Kat.

Yap.
It was kool to see Lady H again.
Now that Sarah is gone, I hope they bring her back more often, if for no reason than to make Grissom sweat a little.  ;)
