I love these last two pics, JP.  Are they part of some deleted scenes?  I don't see them in the DVD.

Yes I believe so on the camping with Jack. The other I think is a production photo. they can be found:

Thank you Heath and Jake for showing us Ennis and Jack,  teaching us how much they loved one another.

In this moment, in a simple canvas tent pitched high in the Wyoming mountians under a beautiful moonlit night, among the trees, birds and the animals, two hearts became one forever.

Thanks for posting this fantastic link, Mark. So that's where all the beautiful pictures come from! By the way, looking at those makes me wonder: the postcard in the closet in the last scene isn't the same one that Ennis first receives from Jack in 1967, is it? I'm assuming not, or someone would have mentioned it by now. But I couldn't find a picture of the last scene from that angle.

And by the way, your last post was particularly nice!

No if you look that was from New Mexico, but I do think regardless since it was the first card Jack sent (bet Ennis kept them all) it should have been tacked up with the shirts, Jacks words out.

Thanks, Mark!  Those pictures are awesome!  Wonderful link indeed.

I agree that the first post card should be up there too.

Jack thinking: Don't move Ennis, let me stay right here with you, just be still, ain't goin' nowhere.

EMBRACE OF STEEL

This is one of my most favorite scenes.  It makes my heart smile.  A picture IS worth a thousand words.
I wish I knew how to quit you.
