They are also called doner kebabs...i just looked them up on the net, but they dont exactly look like what we get....the meat is cut off a big hunk of a meat in strips like this

and then we get them wrapped in lebanese bread with salad and sauce (hot or barbecue)

That looks really good! :D

I don't think we have anything like that here, at least not in the American Midwest. Here's our version of kebab... or shishkebab which I'm beginning to think are two entirely different dishes...

Yes David......we have those too, and we call them kebabs also.......and they are yummy...

(remember what i said before, we get one word, and use it for as many things as we can)

Maybe the shishka and the doner are ways to differentiate between the two.

I have.  Ain't easy and if this is your first go have some labs done first to make sure you aren't deficient

I have done it for a few days, not for a whole week or 10 days.
Yeah, I gotta get ready before the fast.
It will be hard, I know.

Breakfast today - a cuppa coffee so far.
Lunch - Don't know yet.
Supper - I'm in the mood for shrimp...that's all I know for now.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Sat 25 Oct 2008:

Breakfast: Two slices wholegrain toast, one with Vegemite and the other with English marmalade. Pot of tea (Twining's Irish Breakfast tea).

Lunch: Ham and tomato sandwich on wholegrain bread with hot English mustard. Pot of tea (Twining's Prince of Wales tea)

Dinner: Haven't decided - probably warm chicken salad with a few glasses of Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Australian Merlot.

Breakfast - two slices of toast, lightly buttered and topped with cinnamon, and a bowl of warm apple sauce with cinnamon and brown sugar.

Lunch - Garden Burger on a bun with lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise and ketchup.

Dinner - I have no idea. I'm thinking about ordering a pizza from Donatos. ;)
