Oh I hate when that happens. It scares the fire out of me. Hopefully he'll run back outside, but I doubt it. Do you have any live traps you can use to catch him?

I know! I'm not afraid of them, but I screamed in spite of myself. LOL.

It was a little bitty mouse.

The last ones I caught in my live trap pooped in it and it was sooooo stinky. I threw it away, so I'll have to get another one. TOMORROW!!

He's probably been in your house for a few days, and you've just now noticed him. So another 24 hours won't hurt anything. Leave a light on in your kitchen and he'll be less liable to re-appear. They prefer darkness, but as we all know, they often do come out when the lights are turned on. Yuck. :P

I'm not really scared of them either. I just don't like it when they suddenly pop out and run across the room, especially if it is close to me. *cold chill*

You have Oreo to catch mice! That's good.

Nicki is a Yorkshire terrier. They were bred to be ratcatchers, but she's useless!!! She'll chase a ball or a toy, but not a mouse.  My first Yorkie was a wonderful mouser. She'd keep at it until she caught it; she'd grab it, shake it, and lay it down. Very efficient.  :P 8)

I hate it when Oreo catches a mouse. He'll bring it to me and lay it on my lap or God forbid in my BED!

I can't even bear to think about it. :P
