I have to write it ALL OVER AGAIN? Oh well, it wasn't much.

Story is spreading out nicely, slowing down a bit. Tom sounds like he might be a good thing (and it's funny how he interacts with Ennis), and Lureen is yet to come.

Fast or slow, I like the diredction you're heading...
"Don't ask" sounded a bit off...

What I DON'T undertstand, is how 3-4 of you can take these best-beloved characters of all of us, and send them merrily off in the direction you choose for them to go,--and we all love it..

Wonders are not likely to cease soon.

Julie,
Thanks for this message (and the review over on fanfic). I appreciate it!

I debated about "Don't ask" and wrote it a few different ways, leaving it in and taking it out. I obviously left it in--because it completed the joke--but I do see your point.

Maybe in a future revision it will change. Meanwhile, chapter 5 is calling me.  :)

Long (very picky--cause that's all I have to do--pick!) over on fanfic. Oh--one thing I forgot: Ennis was obviously better at--well, everything, but let that pass--in camp, so why wouldn't he be a reasonable help around the house?  I remember the fight with Alma about serving dinner, but I think othwerwise, he was pretty helpful around the house. I'm sleeping on my feet like a horse...zzz

Keep 'em coming! Give 'em hell...

Just when I thought I couldn't love 2 characters more, you came along, Leslie.
Just read it for a third time and panting for chapter 6.

Leslie!
I already read your new chapter and I love it!
I told you already, you are an amazing writer, maybe in some years to come, one of your stories could be the stuff of hollywood movies (much like Annie Proulx's Brokeback mountain ) ..

Keep 'em coming Leslie!! :)
