A Love Born From Steel: Ongoing Discussion

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Put away the Sunday Times, I've got something much better for you to read. Chapter 4 of A Love Born From Steel is now online. Here's the link:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2853224/4/

Note: this chapter is much more chaste than the other three (if you want hot sex, go back and re-read Chapter 2). I needed to write a fair amount of plot detail, to set things up for what's to come. I also tried to put in a little humor--let me know if I was successful. As always, comments are welcome. Please consider posting a review at the fanfic site, too. It's easy to do and I have anonymous reviews enabled, so you don't need to register.

For those who might have missed the beginning, here's the link to start at Chapter 1.

Thanks again for your support and encouragement, everyone. It is appreciated!

I've got one word... YAY!! I'll be reading this one tonight!  ::)
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Love the details, Leslie!  You sure you never lived on a farm?  Trailered two horses across state lines?  Ran or stayed in a horse motel?  Pacing, characterizations, all just great. Really enjoyed reading these latest additions to your story.

Nope, never lived on a farm. But I have done some riding in the distant past and I dredged up those ancient memories to try to write something that sounded realistic. I realized the only other farming I know anything about is dairy farming, but a dairy farm in Texas (or Wyoming) didn't seem too plausible to me! LOL

Hi Everyone,

I am working on a fanfic story which is growing...and growing....

It is called "A Love Born From Steel." When Jack came to see Ennis after he received the divorce postcard, he left saying, "See ya in a month." This story begins with that fishing trip, one month later.

It is over on www.fanfiction.net. Here's the link:

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2853224/1/

I tried to post it here as a message but unfortunately, it is too long. So....scoot on over to fanfic and give it a read. If you'd like to leave a comment or review, please do. Anonymous reviews are enabled, so you don't need to register.

I'll be checking this thread, too, if you want to leave a comment here.

Please note: mature themes and language, including sexual content.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my story.

Leslie
