I voted one other show also. Different western, first and most important Bonanza but also Rawhide. My dad loved westerns and dreamt about going to America to see "the real stuff". For men in his generations the US often was the great dream. My dad was born in 1919 and he spent most of his young adulthood as a soldier guarding the frontier to Norway....and the Nazis. US was the land of free. Sadly he never got to go.
He really loved his western and since we just had one channel we saw the western also, mom and me. When the phone rang we lied and said that he was unable to answer....

My big favourite was My favourite Martian. I have it on DVD, feel like a child again!!
