Glad I didn't commit to that doctor. I called the division lady this morning and she did say my 1st choice department had requested me as well on Friday.
I told her about the doctor making me an offer on Saturday, but apparently, according to the division lady she said the doctor can't make me the offer. It has to come from the head HR lady because they have to do all the paperwork first (background check). She said the doctor was new and probably didn't know.
Now except for my reputation as a serial killer
I have no problems with any kind of background check. Now credit checks are something different (it shows I'm currently overextended because of my school loans and therefore my score is bad) but the website said they
didn't do credit checks. Here's hoping that still holds true. I should hear something today, Tuesday at the latest.
Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping I don't get disappointed again.
