So sorry to hear of this, Phillip.  Hope you're starting to feel better.

My Dad is battling cancer, too - glioblastoma multiforme (a very aggressive form of brain cancer).  He just started Round 2 of chemo this past Friday.  If you ever want to talk to someone who understands all too well, you know where to find me, bud.

Phillip,

Sorry to read about your Dad and that you are sick, too.  I'm also sending along my good wishes and thoughts to you.

It was great to meet you and John in Alberta and I hope we cross paths again.  I've never been to Rochester and other parts of upstate NY (even though I grew up i nYonkers and NYC), so I may pay you guys a visit one of htese days.

Hugs,

Pete

Thanks to everyone for their well wishes.  I am very glad to report that the CT scan they performed showed no change or growth in the spots they identified, so he's been giving a tentative clean bill of health and a request to return in three months for another scan.  We are still going to pursue a second opinion, probably at Sloan-Kettering, just to see if their is any preventative chemotherapy or other treatment that can arrest any potential development.

But a sigh of relief for us for now.
