Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

This painting by Claude Monet, in the Denver exhibit The Truth of Nature, reminds me of the passage in the novel where the boys enter the flowery meadow and the 1,000 sheep flow uphill like dirty water.

My new favorite TV show (which just had its season finale), Brilliant Minds, is somewhat Brokieish.

Why?

I just read an interview with the show's creator (my bad--I didn't save the url  ::) ) where he describes the main character, the brilliant neurologist Oliver Wolf, as having erected walls around himself.

Walls around himself.

Who does that sound like?
"It is required of every man that the spirit within him should walk abroad among his fellow-men, and travel far and wide."--Charles Dickens.

Yes, it reminds me of Ennis. But it also reminds me of Oliver Sacks, the brilliant neurologist (whose middle name was Wolf).
