Hey Mandy.....he kept on telling me to get closer to it, so he could get a pic of the alligator and me together........while he used a ZOOM lens. :o :o
Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

Heya Sue, when I saw that picture, I was seriously praying that no other crazy fool was potentially endangered by Rob's insanity, but apparently I was wrong.  With a ZOOM lens, no less?  As if that's going to make the alligator move a little slower towards you as he's ripping your head and various other appendages from your body?

Rob, what Boomer did to you wasn't enough?  Were you hoping to go home with one more love bite as a souvenir of your journey?

Crazy bloke...   ::) ::) ::)

Huh. It was only a 5' or 6' baby. Probably weighed no more than Boomer.
Anyway, Sue found it and invited us to come see. And she didn't get any closer to it than we did.
'Tho I will confess, I was trying to encourage her to get closer for a good pic.  ;D

Friday and Saturday, Bob and I took a little trip to Georgia and beyond.
(actually, it was about a 900 mile round trip).

We set off from Spring Hill, on a road lined by moss covered trees.

Then on a highway that was brightened up by spring flowers.
(Those pics look, to me, as though they are taken in a mirror. It took a while to get used to being on the right hand side of the road).

Bob had washed the windscreen a few times, by now, so that I could take pics through it.

Then we arrived at Cedar Creek, a small fishing (tourist?) village on the Gulf of Mexico.

Oh. I thought the bikini girl was in that one.  :-\

And we had lunch at a cute restaurant, overlooking the gulf.
(didn't see the oil spill).

We went 'way down upon the Swannee River'.
Actually, Bob turned around and we crossed it three times, just so I could get a pic or three.

We visited the Florida State Capital.  (Tallahasse ?)
And saw the government building through a bit of late afternoon rain.
(That's why the pic is a little grey, notwithstanding the windscreen.)
