Chuck, where will the services be? Do you know will it be a church service or a memorial service?

Gene didn't give specifics.  He'll be in touch.

He also said he'll get to us asap about the information regarding the trust fund for Bizzy.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

I remember that Tru!  We all called him "Lee" here, and then he just decided it would be Rich.
I remember that too..

I'd like to know too, Chuck. It helps to focus prayer.

I took my love, I took it down
I climbed a mountain and I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
’til the landslide brought it down

Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?

Well, I’ve been afraid of changing cause i’ve
Built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I’m getting older, too

Well, I’ve been afraid of changing cause i’ve
Built my life around you
Time makes you bolder
Even children get older
And I’m getting older, too
I get older, too

I took my love and took it down
I climbed a mountain, I turned around
And if you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
The landslide brought it down
The landslide brought it down
"Tu doives entendre je t'aime."
(and you know who I am...)

I never met Rich in person, but I remember when he first came to Bettermost. He had seen the movie and was struggling so (like we all did/do)--and dealing with his own self-discoveries, making a decision about divorce, so terribly worried about his little girl...
L., I remember that too! Ooo gosh, yes, he was having to make big decisions and was quite worried about what his daughter would say or think. I remember he was very thankful for the advice and help he got from the Brokies here..

So very very sad..  :'(

I didn't know Rich, cant even remember if we ever exchanged posts. But I knew he was around these places. Heard is name mentioned many many times. Had an opportunity to meet him, at a rodeo in Ft Lauderdale, but I didn't get there. Im sorry bout that, wish I had now.

So last night I decided to meet this man, who I was grieving, who's loss has made me incredibly sad, who made such an impact on the people here, who has gone too soon.

I logged in to his posts, starting at the beginning when he first came on here, reading about how he was going 'crazy' and couldn't understand why, and it was  all over this dam movie Brokeback Mountain. Sometimes I giggled reading his reactions, and remembering my own identical ones. There was no doubt it was in his soul, in his being.

I have much more to read, much more to know about this bloke Rich. Thankfully, he has written it all down here, where he was free to talk about anything and everything that was going on in his mind and his heart. He will never be gone, while ever he is thought of, while ever he is remembered, while ever his words are here for us to share.

Dear Rich, some of us never got to meet you, but that doesn't change the fact, that we still shared all those same feelings,  found something here, that would change us, make us better, link us with lifetime friends to love and guide us. We were all chosen to share this and thats why I miss you now. Go on up to that mountain dear friend.

Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect.

It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfection

:)  I think Rich would really like that.  He always wanted to make it to Wyoming.

His Mamma said he had not come told her anything, yet. I told her he will, in time. He will come see us all, I an't sure how all that works but it seems too.

I was just thinking of something, do you remember when we used to call him Lee, and then it was like Lee on bettermost and Rich off bettermost....

Something strange happened to me yesterday evening, shortly after Rich passed. The upstairs part of the house suddenly started smelling of incense. I thought maybe something was on fire because I haven't burned incense in this house in a very long time. I could even smell it on the stairs as I went down to investigate. The odor was faint. But it was there. When I came back upstairs it was gone. I started wondering if perhaps it might have been Rich stopping by for a minute to say goodbye. I told a friend about it and she said it could have been my angels surrounding me because I was so upset and they wanted to comfort me. Then again it could have been just my imagination. Whatever it was it made me think about Richard for a while.

Maybe that was the whole point. :-\
