uestions remain as to why actor Randy Quaid, who played rancher Joe Aguirre in Brokeback Mountain -- essentially a non-lead role -- withdrew his $10 million lawsuit against the makers of said film.  (Quaid's publicist said that the actor received a bonus for withdrawing the lawsuit while Focus Features claimed there was no settlement.)
