*********slight spoiler*************

Del Mar looked good in a suit; Jack would give him that, the dark material highlighting his lanky frame. Jack had always liked men in suits, with their crisp shirts, shiny ties, and polished shoes cracking against the floor. Maybe because growing up on a ranch he’d never seen men dressed that way. Seemed like a better world than the one he’d come from. Sure as hell a step up from the one he lived in now. Men in suits gave the appearance of having made something of themselves, of being in control, inside and out—even if it was an illusion. Those men weren’t going to turn their lives into the kind of fucked up mess Jack’s had become.  --Shades of Grey by midwest_girl/Amy

Hey all

I see I'm not the only one feeling aprehensive about the upcoming chapter. We just know that the angst and unhappiness is coming. We have to get through it before any kind of resolution can be had, and we're not even sure what kind of resolution Amy has in mind!

Isn't it odd to be so looking forward to something, yet kind of dreading it too?  :-\

Karen

PS Am loving those Jack pictures. Especially the *ahem* up "against the wall" one (as it is now forever implanted in my mind)

Thursday is always Shades day cause that's when Amy updates and all of get all nervous and worried and excited!

Sure enough! And I admit to favouring a bit of angst as long as there is a happy resolution in the end, so..... yep. All impatient now!

PS: Leslie, once more heaps of great pictures from you! Thank you. Especially like it that SoG  Ennis has started to be more visible in the thread, too.  :)
