I know it's already been said, but... Happy Thursday  ;D
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Vague spoilers, sort of.....

**Reads chapter 13 **

**Screams**

Awesome chapter. The relationship between Hinestroza and Jack.... and then later Jack and Ennis, described so well it all sendt shivers down my spine.

Now this chapter's turn of events I *so* didn't see coming!  :o :o  I thought they'd be captured or found by Madrigal and that would be Jack's hour to sacrifice himself in order to seek redemption for Ortiz.

I think that based on experience from investigations and other prosecutions Ennis probably should have been entirely aware just where this particular case was heading, well before the prosecutor told him, but of course he's been more than distracted lately.......  Anyway, who cares?!?! "What happens now" is the only question!

** Starts biting nails like crazy **

Okay.... Well... What to say...

Another fantastic chapter.

Am a bit numb. Not the direction I was expecting. Amy you have just ratcheted up the tension several more notches!

I do not know how I am going to hang on for a week for the next one.

Will wait to discuss plot till you SOG fans have read it.

Actually, the WPP is handled exclusively by the U.S. Attorney's Office and the U.S. Marshal's Office, so Ennis wouldn't necessarily be in the loop of what was going on with Jack's status.  He would be informed on a need to know basis.  I do agree that he probably should have been more concerned w/ getting Hinestroza into the country, but I found that often times the different divisions of a prosecution fail to communicate with one another on any substantive level.  The FBI is left to handle their part of the case and the U.S. Attorney's office, etc. handles their part and you hope all the pieces come together in the end.  Also, Ennis, up until this point, was a big believer in "the system" and thought things would work out because that was what was supposed to happen.
