Grab some paints and brushes and give it a go. I bet you'll be surprised how much talent you have. To start with, pick a handful of colours that appeal to you personally. And then simply start painting. Probably best to start with an abstract, rather than a portrait or landscape. In that way you can concentrate on form and colour, rather than getting bogged down with trying to capture a photo-realist image. The important thing is to have FUN with it. There's far too much snobbery surrounding the fine arts. I say to people, "You don't know what you can do 'till you try."

My Mother used to tell me I couldn't draw a straight line with a ruler. I'm afraid she was right. I can't draw anything. My talents are more musical; mostly the cello, violin and piano. I have played those instruments ever since I was a little boy.

I guess I can't have it both ways can I, Kerry? 

But I have always greatly admired those who can paint and draw. I think it's wonderful!

I play a little banjo too. My friend Shawn plays the guitar and sometimes he brings his guitar with him when he comes to my house. We have a lot of fun sitting around playing "Dueling Banjos" and other songs.

Your sooo funny Kerry!  Your doing a great job of messing Jess's "worst story ever told" up!   But actually I think in order for it to live up to it's name.   it can't flow with one liners. It will need the wrench's thrown in,  just like your doing!  Keep up the good work!
