I got that line first, for a stupid reason. 

I saw exactly one episode of "Pinky & the Brain", thought it was stupid, and was a stupid name, never watched it again.  However, that embedded "pinky" in my head with either 'pinky finger' or 'pinky and the brain'.  So when I saw 'pinky' the cartoon was my first thought.  Then I saw Jerry, and I watched of ton of "Tom & Jerry", so I knew it was about cartoon mice.  I was looking for Mickey, but found the other names.

I actually thought Connections was a bit too easy today. Itchy and Jerry were the only familiar names, but I've seen all the cartoons Paul posted and when I'd figured out the book parts the purple category became clear.

Connections is still in beta, right? So I assume they're taking note of which days people are finding too easy and which days too hard and adjusting future puzzles accordingly?
