This New Year's Eve? Apparently not a damn thing.  :(

You've still got plenty of time to plan to do something!! Me, I'm planning to spend the evening in reflecting on all the events of the year and figuring out a strategy for keeping my sanity in the coming months, which I see as being a roller coaster of a ride! Hope I can stay on for the full eight seconds months (I can't see the administration lasting much longer than that, and I'll be surprised if it does!)

I went to bed about 9.15pm and read for a while. The movie on was "King Kong"  ??? and "The Bucket List"
Earlier on another station they were showing "A Knight's Tale" which I thought about but decided to watch "New Tricks" instead.
I really do not like watching movies on TV. The adverts drive me mad.
I got up at 7am this morning. It is now after 9.30am so Happy New Year. One thing in which NZ will always be first.  ;D

Interesting. Our local 6 p.m. fireworks display (broadcast on our local NBC affiliate) was accompanied by movie themes: E.T., Gone With the Wind, Star Wars. Other music may also have been movie themes, but if so they were unfamiliar to me.

Thank you, friend. I'll definitely give this a listen when the time comes, and I think things will get kind of melty and moisty. Believe it or not, I'm actually working a couple of hours tonight, but the work is great. I have to come up with a good original recipe for an Asian chicken appetizer for the Year of the Chicken, which starts January 28.

You bet, Lee.  I had thought you introduced this to me, but it was our dear friend Celeste who originally posted it on facebook and I reposted it.  Somehow, I always think of you when I hear this.  Must be because of Robbie B.!
Happy year of the chicken, in advance!
