I just wanted to recommend The Bellwether by Debutante9 (the author of The Wolf and the Thunderbird)... it's been around for a while I think but I just read it last night and I thought it was really well done.

it starts here http://debutante9.livejournal.com/725.html

I absolutely adored The Bellwether and I love TWATT  :)

Here is a link to the sequel of the Bellwether, one chapter so far:

...then this silly RPS Crossover from jam_on_a_magnet might appeal:

Should hopefully raise a smile on a cold December day  :)

I didn't know there was a sequel, thanks June!  :D
‘cause the truth is, I already give him everythin’ I got to give, more than I ever even knew I had; ‘n it all for him, all of it, him who is my brother, my father, my child, my friend, my lover, my heart, my soul; my Ennis.

Your're welcome, Mandy!  ;D  And did you know she's also writing another story called Camden Yards? I'll try and find the link.

Jack and Ennis have been the best of friends for 15 years. Their wives, Lureen and Alma, are also friends. The four of them have been through it all together and consider each other and their children to be like family. Jack and Ennis have been season ticket holders to the Baltimore Orioles since their friendship began during a summer job at the Inner Harbor. This story takes place over the course of one baseball season where one missed game changes everything.

I keep telling myself to read Camden Yards, but she takes forever to update all of her stories so I keep putting it off because I know it will be awhile. I'm sure it's good though, I love all of her other stuff  :)
