Damn! There is a joke in there somewhere...

The other day I said to my husband, "Gerald Ford, James Brown, and Saddam Hussein all died in the same week. There has got to be a comedy joke in there somewhere."

And my husband said, "Thank God I am not that comedy writer."

LOL

So am I to understand that all well-appointed homes have weather vanes in the bathroom for gauging the direction of the wind?
 :D

OK..I do not have to be the funniest person in the room - I freely admit that I'm usually slightly warped when it comes to humor, but since we're now discussing being funny...I must ask -

Tell me honestly, did no one else find this picture hilarious??!??!

Since I didn't follow the link and read the article, this is the first I'm seeing it. Maybe that "weather vane" is actually to hold the fingertip guest towels. ...  ;D

That's a running horse weathervane.  All those old early american images have loads of symbolism... Running horses are associated with fertility, empathy, travel, power, freedom, peace, sincerity, wealth and loyalty. They are referred in the bible and their tradition dates back to the Celtic mythology. In the bible, they are used to represent virtues like righteousness, holiness and purity and also stand for salvation. White horse weather vanes hold very strong symbolic messages. They are also particularly relevant for Irish people since their folklore and fairy tales consider white horses to be very majestic. Arabian horses represent peace, friendship, sincerity and honor.

Of course these guys may not even be aware of all that...maybe it's just there coz it's a horse and these two guys LOVE horses and it's odd and unusual to have it in the bathroom...  ;D  not to make too much out of it or anything  ::)  besides I like Jeff's idea, darn thing makes a great hand towel rack!

And ain't that a heckuva bathtub for a double-wide?  ;D

A heckuva bathroom altogether?

My guess is, no peeing in the sink for these boys!
