Go to www.frappr.com/bettermost to add yourself. Feel free to add important places too. I got it started with Riverton, Childress, and Calgary. :-)

Ann-Marie was the first to get back to me about being the CT co-sponsor of this little project, so I'm going to appoint her to the job. Thanks for everyone who volunteered - we have the very best group of folks here! We've never done this before so all suggestions are appreciated. Contact either one of us with your comments.

This is a great start. May I suggest that folks include their screen names so we can recognize each other? I'm not sure who is who for many if they just use a first name. Include both for even more fun!

Just bumping this as a reminder for all of our new users to go add yourselves to the map. As we keep growing, it will be nice to be able to plan mini excursions with local people.

And again, a reminder to new folks that the frappr map is located at www.frappr.com/bettermost.

Take a few minutes and add yourself - use a nearby larger city if you're not comfortable giving your exact locale. As we get more involved in planning social events, it's a big help to be able to see at a glance who we should make sure is aware of goings-on in their neighborhood!

If you have any technical problems, please let me know. So far, it's been essentially maintenance-free.

Lynne, I added myself, but then i couldnt get Australia on the map......just curious...maybe it doesnt include australia....

Its great to see the map of america and see where everyone is.....seeing how far Childress is from Riverton, makes me understand more, the distances Jack used to travel to see Ennis....

This is great....I do hope Australia is included....

Katie/Geri - Thanks for adding yourselves!

I played with the map some this morning and figured out how to view Australia. If you click on the map and drag it west and north, then let it refresh, it will 'move'. What I haven't been able to figure out is how to display a world map upon opening.

I'll see if I can find more options later today, because it should really be global from the outset, then let you 'drill down' into specific regions.

I'm bumping this so I remember to go over there and do some maintenance. I still wish there was a way to integrate it here so you don't have to leave BetterMost to use it...I should ask Phillip and John again...

I tried to add myself and it uploaded the picture all right, but when I got to moving the pin and leaving a shout-out, the dialogue box just freezes. What's happened?

Well I,ve added myself and the stupid pin is no where near where it should be. I can,t seem to move it either.It,s the right country but the wrong county. And when I typed that in, it put me in the States ffs. *gives up* Bloody technology.

I'm just glad that thing is off the forum's front page -- it was causing the page to take twice as long to load.

And I never could it to work -- am putting a mental skull-and-crossbones over "Frappr" for now.
