Did Fred Phelps eat paint chips as a child?

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Yikes, we just got an email warning to all staff from our chief of security at work that Phelps and the Westboro Baptist church will be protesting next Tuesday at a funeral for PA's lt.governor Catherine Baker Knoll.  She will be having a funeral in a church near to my work.  I'm so freaked out about this.

This is what his email says:

"Two events will be occurring next Tuesday that may create traffic disruptions ---.  At noon there will be a funeral for Catherine Baker Knoll at ---. This will entail having much of the area blocked off ... with political representatives and other dignitaries present, as well as a procession with a riderless horse.

Building up to and during the event a protest is scheduled at --- by the Westboro Baptist Church, which is officially classified as a hate group.  This is the group that pickets funerals of police officers, soldiers and others, claiming that their deaths are God’s wrath for society’s tolerance of homosexuals.

Please be aware of the disruption of traffic and the possibility of an unpleasant encounter with these protesters if your travels lead you to their location.  It may be wise to avoid the area."

Again, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!  I may call in sick on Tuesday.  I don't want to be anywhere near this.  And, I feel so terrible for the people attending the funeral.  How awful to have to deal with a hate group like this (as with any funeral that's disrupted by this awful group).

I'm glad that he sent this warning, and I'm also glad that he noted that the group is considered a hate group.

Yikes!

Kelda, I was just going to post about Angel Action.

I learned about them when I watched one of the Matthew Sheppard movies.  Such courage Romaine had!

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!
