How is everyone today?

Going to be a busy weekend.  On the way home from work the car's "Service Engine Soon" light came on, so I'm dropping it off tomorrow morning to have it looked at.  Then I'm borrowing Dad's truck to get some shopping done, have to get the head shaved, and (of course) clean the apartment.  I have a bunch of stuff to do, I may have to make a list.  LOL

What is this about being in Europe? You are a dark horse, no mention of it that I can see and no mention that I rmember when we met in NYC. Was it the wedding? I have jsut realised you have been quiet for over a week. Guess my excuse is that I have been rather busy travelling myself. ;D
 Now waiting in San Francisco airport for my long long flight home.

C'mon, tell us something about your trip. What did you see besides the wedding? Remains of the Wall, visits to the hinterland, did you dive into the vibrant nightlife, did you encounter Angie in the supermarket? And photos!

Saw remains of the wall, a boat trip through Berlin, visit to Potsdam, Berliner Weisse with sour cherry, 5 new Nena vinyl records, LOTS of walking......I'm still tired.

And Nena made a CD with lullabies. It's called Nenas Tausend Sterne (thousand stars) and is a very lovely compilation of classic lullabies. We play it for the whole two hours during our children's midday nap at work. I really love that CD. :)

Yup, that's how I felt today, after 2 weeks off.

I had over 350 emails waiting for me, and then after about two hours, some people showed up to give me a new computer.  Ugh!  I lost half the day while they did transfers.  I was not amused.

Thankfully, after lunch, everything was done and I was able to finish out the day.  Back to work tomorrow.
