How do you feel about going totally remote? I'd imagine it's a relief not to have to commute, but you're such a social person, my guess is you'll miss the chance to be around your co-workers.

Did you have many staff meetings when you all worked in the office? Will they now be replaced with Zoom meetings and Microsoft Team meetings? I had to deal with a lot of those before I retired. :P

I'm sure there will be some sort of gathering, just not sure how it will work.
My job is already 100% remote, I was going in twice a week to see coworkers. Now really being 100% remote, I'll adjust.
Yes, we had meetings usually once a week, and they'll be on Teams now, which I'm used to using.

We had been using Zoom for company-wide meetings, about once a month.
We had switched to Teams for, well, team meetings or individual meetings.
Much to my surprise, I actually learned how to schedule a meeting in Teams.

Will you still get together for coffee, lunch, dinner, parties, etc.?
CellarDweller:
God only knows!
I think we'd only get together at work related functions, which would mean commute to the city, which I DON'T want to do!

Hiya BetterMost friends!!!!
So, is everyone busy with holiday plans?
I'm on vacation again next week, I had one week left to use. I'll be baking with mom and dad starting on Saturday, to make sure the cookies are ready for the office party on the 11th.
I spent this evening watching Hallmark movies, and addressing Christmas cards. :) As of tonight, all the cards that are going outside of NJ are addressed and ready to be dropped off at the post office tomorrow.
I also placed my order at the grocery store for the cookie ingredients, and will pick them up Friday evening, so that I have everything in order to start on Saturday morning.
At one point during next week I'll send out all the NJ cards, and then pretty much be done for the holidays. The only thing I've got to do is figure out what to get my dad for Christmas. My brothers and I aren't exchanging, and I already gave my mom her gift early. I got a nice stand mixer to use for the cookies. We already tried it for the first batch we did last week, and it works nicely!
;D
