Thanks Bruce!

Yes, I am saying to you since I found that out last might in the interviews about that film: The Last Picture Show!!

But, I sense sonething GAY about it... did you too??

Hugs!!

delalluvia:
There might've been homoerotic overtones in "The Last Picture Show" as there are in almost any movie about close male friends, but IMO - I've seen and read both the "Last Picture Show" and its sequel "Texasville" - the writers make it very clear that the two men were fighting over the same woman but for different reasons, and in later life

SPOILERS!!!     SPOILERS!!!     SPOILERS!!!

Duane is firmly the town patriarch, still chasing after women despite being a good father and - apparently - deeply in love and devoted to his wife.  By then, Sonny is doddering, his mind wandering and he's treated very delicately, like a beloved but senile uncle.

Maybe because the two were in such a dire tight knit small town or village??

So what do you say about the OTHER movie I quoted?

Sal had pic of an ACTOR in his locker door... yes INSIDE, as that was evident and the ONLY pic there... it seems in THAT movie!!

Any other new about that?

Hugs!!

I never saw "Rebel without a Cause".  I do know Sal Mineo was definitely gay, and I did hear/read that James Dean was probably bisexual, but I don't think I ever read anything definitive about it.

Artiste:
You are right!

You must see it, since it is such a wonderful film!

Yes, they, these actors, were both said as you say.

When I lived in Hollywood, Los Angeles for many years and many times, it was said that Sal's murder was NOT solved!

Is it now, does you or anyone know??

Hugs!!
