I loved the bit about the Hoosier guys acting as interpreters.

Yeah--I thought that was cute too--(I thought about you--you're the only Hoosier that I know--LOL) I'd like to have heard some of their conversations! The local radio station is going to broadcast from Wisconsin all week, I think. They are dedicating the week to the 875th and there is a HUGE homecoming planned in Jonesboro. It's a National Guard unit and their  commander reported that their mission (to find and dismantle IED's) was very successful. Hopefully, they won't have to go back.

Yes we did. My father is quite ill and I've been taking care of him, or trying to anyway. I couldn't make it this year. I should have sent you a PM about it, but with all the chaos right now, it just slipped my mind. Sorry about that. Maybe we can try to go next year!

Alex is supposed to call me tomorrow. Just as long as I can talk to him on the phone, it helps a lot, you know? He's heading up to Newcastle, England to see his family for a couple or few weeks before returning to London. We are trying to get everything arranged for him to come back to Indiana around Christmas; either just before or just after. So far, it's looking pretty good!

Yes, Tru, I remembered that about the same time - don't know where August went this year...we'll do it another year!
